I have experience and expertise in providing empirically supported psychological interventions for medical providers and students, individuals who have experienced a critical illness or catastrophic injury, and individuals seeking clarity for stress-related difficulties or work/life transitions. My particular area of expertise is in working with individuals who were high functioning prior to their critical illness or injury, but who are experiencing new difficulties such as anxiety, mood changes or cognitive difficulties that are impacting their life in important ways.
I enjoy working with healthcare professionals and executives (with/without a history of acquired brain injury, other injury, or medical condition) to assist them in maximizing life functioning (both personal and career). Because of my background as a rehabilitation psychologist, I am able to utilize techniques and processes that are backed by research and helpful for clarifying personal values - key to enhancing both life and career function.
I use integrative strategies and techniques - including CBT, ACT and MI - taking into account your personal history, coping style, and personality to guide you toward living your most full and meaningful life.
